A Note from Cole-

Meet Kinley

This year, I’m super excited to introduce to you my 9-year-old cousin, Kinley. She is stepping into the swine ring for the very first time at the Clallam County Fair—and she’s bringing along her two pigs, Billings and Montana. Raising pigs has been a brand new adventure for Kinley, but one she’s taken on with care and dedication. From early morning feedings to keeping their pen clean and learning how to show them, Kinley has loved the process of watching her pigs grow strong and healthy. She says her favorite part is “seeing the difference every day” as she works hard to give them the best care she can. Billings and Montana are more than just pigs—they represent Kinley’s commitment, responsibility, and her first step toward big dreams. The money Kinley earns from the auction will be saved for her future, showing that even at just 9 years old, she’s thinking ahead and building something meaningful. Please consider coming out to the PNWJLA to support Kinley and all the showmen like her. Your bid not only helps a young person learn and grow—it’s an investment in the future of agriculture and our local community.

Just a girl and her pig ready to head to the fair!

A note from Kinley-

Howdy, my name is Kinley Konopaski. I’m nine years old and a part of the Pure Country 4-H club . This is my 2nd year in 4-H and my 1st year participating in the Pacific Northwest Junior Livestock Auction. I purchased my two pigs locally and have spent the last 5 months feeding them a high protein feed along with daily cleanings and walks.  After paying my parents back for feed, I plan on saving the rest for the future. Outside of 4-H, I enjoy riding my horse, Strudel, and competing in rodeos. My favorite event is breakaway roping. I hope you will consider coming out to the PNWJLA that will be held Saturday August 16th during the fair to bid on not only my animals but my family and friends as well. THANK YOU for taking time to read this letter.  Hope to see you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are about to see an amazing kid tell you about her amazing project! Enjoy!
